Statement on accessibility 

KSV1870 Information GmbH endeavours to make its web application www.riskchecker.at accessible in accordance with the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz - BaFG) and Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

This statement applies to the web application mentioned above.

Compliance status

This website is fully compatible with the requirements of conformance level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament.

In addition, several WCAG 2.2 success criteria have already been taken into account to improve accessibility beyond the minimum legal requirements. These include:

  • SC 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured – Focus indicators are always visible when using the keyboard and are not hidden due to other content.
  • SC 2.5.7 Dragging Movements – Accessible alternatives are available for drag-and-drop actions.
  • SC 2.5.8 Target Size – Interactive elements (e.g. buttons) have a minimum size of 24 × 24 CSS pixels.
  • SC 3.2.6 Consistent Help – Help options and contact possibilities are consistently integrated.
  • SC 3.3.8 Accessible Authentication – Authentication processes are accessible without purely visual or transcription-based challenges.
