About FINcredible GmbH
KSV1870 acquired a 58.6% stake in the Viennese start-up as a strategic investor in September 2019.
FINcredible GmbH was founded in 2017 as a university spin-off by researchers from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The company offers an instant digital solution for checking people's identity and creditworthiness based on real-time bank account information. FINcredible's business model is based on the concept of developing fully digital processes for quick and easy credit checks that can be conducted anytime and anywhere. FINcredible's customers include landlords and real estate agents as well as retailers in the e-commerce sector. It has been part of the KSV1870 Group since September 2019.

About KSV1870 Nimbusec GmbH
KSV1870 continued its investment strategy in April 2020 and became the majority owner of KSV1870 Nimbusec GmbH by acquiring a 74.5% stake.
Nimbusec monitors websites for security incidents and GDPR compliance. The Linz-based company was launched as a start-up in 2013 and has since developed into an international specialist for IT security and compliance. It has been developing and maintaining core technologies such as defacement detection and web shell detection and the continuous analysis of millions of websites ever since it was founded. The groundwork for its activities is researched in cooperation with leading Austrian universities and universities of applied sciences. Nimbusec's products are used to monitor individual websites and for the continuous analysis of global online offerings of major corporations.
